Quality Assurance & Compliance
The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is Australia’s independent national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education. TEQSA has regulatory responsibility for English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS). ELICOS courses can be delivered by a registered higher education provider and must comply with requirements set out in the:
- ESOS Act 2000
- National Code 2018
- ELICOS National Standard 2018
Australia provides rigorous protection for international students through the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) and related legislation (including the National Code of Practice 2018) which protects and enhances Australia’s reputation for quality education and provides tuition protection and supports the integrity of the student visa program.
Aspire English is also a member of English Australia, the national peak body for the English language sector of international education in Australia. They help to ensure that quality English language programs are delivered to students from around the world.
Aspire English is also quality endorsed by NEAS (National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme Limited). This quality endorsement is only accessible to well-respected providers offering quality English language programs complying with strict standards. Not only has NEAS quality endorsed the face -to- face Aspire English courses but it has awarded Aspire English a gold standard NEAS rating for its online delivery of General English and Academic English courses.
Lifestyle
There’s something Australians are known around the world for – that’s their amazing lifestyle. Australia is blessed with some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in the world so it comes as no surprise that Australians love to enjoy the good things in life: the beautiful beaches, global shopping experiences, cafe culture, and world-class restaurants.
Aussies find countless ways to kick off their shoes and enjoy their lifestyle, be it surfing, fishing, kayaking, picnicking, sharing an impromptu game of beach cricket or just soaking up some sunshine.
There’s something else Aussies are known for, and that is our easy-going, friendly attitude. Food, events, art and history are all vital parts of the Australian culture, but what really distinguishes Aussies is the laid-back outlook on life. It’s the reason you’ll hear the words “no worries, mate” exchanged between strangers on the street.
Aspire would love to welcome you to our campus and share your Australian adventure with you.
